What sort of people eat those candy-like breakfast cereals?

spoilt kids who wont eat healthy cereal they demand the candy cereal in time there teeth will decay and waistlines will get bigger

fat ones people who like the sugar and the cholesterol you shouldn't eat them you should buy cheerios or raisin brand or honey bunches of oats they are the most delicious cereal you'll ever have i always buy special kay for diets they are nutritious and delicious  i think kids and teens i don't expect adults to eat those kinds of cereal

Fortunately, in Great Britain we don't have too much of that sort of rubbish - Sugar Puffs and Frosties (lightly sugared corn flakes) is about all we have to bear - sorry - I mean 'offer'.

Un-educated,lazy Moms perhaps.  No.  Cereal became an alternative to cooking, during the Fifties.  That's when things ALL started to show up in boxes.  We had graham crackers, oatmeal, and shredded wheat.  Packaging made things easier, faster for the home.  Women started to go to work outside the home.  Fast times, fast meals.  Now after so many years, public awareness is making us more aware of the  things that go into them.  This is a hard cycle to break.  We've become used to their flavors and we don' want them gone.  It's gonna take time to remedy this.
