What sort of question would be a good question for yahoo answers?

should it involve something i'm interested in?

The first time I ever posted here, I felt the same way you did.  I experienced doubt that my question would be something that appealed to a wide enough audience that it would give pleasure to whosoever would stumble upon my humble musings.

However, as the teacher at my school, Sister Julietta Ramirez, used to say, "The only stupid question ... is a question which you forget to ask ... because you are too busy trying to tie your shoe while riding a skateboard... and you know that you should stop, because you can't look where you're going and tie your shoe at the same time, you know?... and then suddenly you run head first into a stop sign ... and your question only returns to you later that night when you are taking a p**p."  But to be honest, I am paraphrasing, because Sister Julietta Ramirez gave me these advices in Latin, and my Latin is no very good.

So I will give you the same advice that a humble farmer from my village, Geraldo Guadalupe, once gave me many years ago.

He said to me, "Shawn.  In order to find the answers you must go within.  In order to think, you must un-think.  In order to find, you must first lose something.  In order..."

But I did not hear the rest of his advice, senor.  Actually, the next thing I knew, I was waking up, and all of my moneys ... they were gone.  Geraldo Guadalupe (face twists in anger)... that rattlesnake... one of his armed henchmen had come up from behind me and striked me with a tire iron.  While I was in the unconscious, he and his henchmen... they took all my moneys.

So, my advice to you is this.  Before you do too much soul-searching about which question to put on Yahoo Answers, just ask something simple like how to make a good Western omelette or how to get cat pee out of your carpet.  If you do that, you will be able to see in advance if someone is trying to steal your wallet.
