What sort of room should you keep a cambells dwarf hamster? sunny,medium,dark etc?

  1. you should keep your dwarf hamster in a  room between 70 and 80 gegrees celcius. Keep them out out of direct sunlight. They should not be in a drafy area. It doesn't really matter what kind of room you keep them in, aslong as they meet all of the above.The darker the room though, the more comfotable their eyes will be, as they are use to being awake at night.


  2. It should be medium. Hamsters are burrowing animals and live in burrowed holes in the ground. Ideally, they should be given a dim area that mimics the holes underground where they live but where the hamsters can feel the cycle of daylight and dark so that their biological clocks work properly. Too much sunlight would cause them not to come out of their nests and too much darkness throughout the day would also cause them confusion.

  3. Well darkish rooms are better for hamsters, as they can see better in the dark, but i just keep my hamster in my bedroom, so just dont put your hamster in direct sunlight! as it damages their eyes! x
