Maybe you can wear some flats which look like ballerina shoes... or like gypsy flats. =) and then just make it look good by adding a flipsy attitude. =)

personally, i would NEVER wear a skirt without at least 3" heels.  they're better for dancing, by the way.

Sandals in silver/blasck patent or thos shoes which look like ballet shoes.  If you don't wear heels you'll be standing and dancing long after those who do!
