  1. everything they,ve got . . . . just avoid the ones that the taliban take at you . . .good luck

  2. Ask your travel agent and/or doctor!

  3. Summary of recommendations: For Travelers to India

All travelers should visit either their personal physician or a travel health clinic 4-8 weeks before departure.

Malaria: Prophylaxis with Lariam, Malarone, or doxycycline is recommended for all areas, except for areas at altitudes >2,000 m (6,561 ft) in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir, and Sikkim.

    Vaccinations: Hepatitis A

    Recommended for all travelers

    Typhoid

    Recommended for all travelers

    Polio

One-time booster recommended for any adult traveler who completed the childhood series but never had polio vaccine as an adult

    Yellow fever

Required for all travelers arriving from or transiting through a yellow-fever-infected area in Africa or the Americas. Not recommended otherwise.

    Japanese encephalitis

For long-term (>1 month) travelers to rural areas or travelers who may engage in extensive unprotected outdoor activities in rural areas, especially after dusk

    Hepatitis B

For travelers who may have intimate contact with local residents, especially if visiting for more than 6 months

    Rabies

For travelers who may have direct contact with animals and may not have access to medical care

    Measles, mumps, rubella (MMR)

Two doses recommended for all travelers born after 1956, if not previously given

    Tetanus-diphtheria

    Revaccination recommended every 10 years

  4. I would like suggest to you that you should contact to a tour agency/company for your India trip for best trip arrangement.

I would recommend a tour agency http://www.iconindiatours.com because i have recently return from india to my vacation trip, the all tour was perfect managed by above company.

    Best of Luck

  5. um i would get a flu shot cuz a lot of people have it there...... also if u dont like bugs i would get some bug repellent cuz theres tons of bugs.... and i think that is about it

well i take that back..... if u r alergic to bees than get a shot 4 that, kay i guess thats it

    ur welcome

  6. it depends on where and when you are going, but in general, get boosters for the usual. mmr, tetanus, dpt, etc.

get hep a and if you can affford it get hep b, because it protects you at home for life too.

get japanese encephalitis if you're going to be in the jungle or in the monsoon.

do NOT get any malaria drugs. they are not worth it.

you don't need the rabies shots unless you're going to be working with animals.

you don't need yellow fever, that's not for india.

  7. Get the shots that prevent you from being overcome by a beastly urge to eat the streetfood and dance in the streets.  I hear those shots are hard to find...
