What sort of things do you do in Health and social Care?

I am taking a BTEC course in it this year when i come back to school in September and I wanna know what you do in it because if i don't like it im gonna drop it. Thanks. x

  1. i done health and social care for quite a few years and i found it very interesting. it covers things like first aid, diseases, illness, legislation, discrimination of diability, basic healthcare, social work etc


  2. BTEC first or National, they vary and different schools teach different units but generally

    You will look at concepts of health, causes of disease. Some physiology, probably the ageing process. Maybe some psychology, maybe health promotion. You will almost certainly look at some legislation such as health and safety, discrimination legislation are data protection.
