What sorts of things do you do when you volunteer at the food bank?

In the food bank in my area, there were a few different jobs:

- driving around to collect all the goods from where the donates were being held

- shelving items

- organizing shelves

- helping people find things

- hanging up posters for donations

- greet people

A lot of heavy lifting and answering phones.

canned goods like canned corn and beans and soup mostly. Also boxes of cereal and things in sealed packages that wilol not spoil.
