What sould i expect in agiscience?

I'm going into highschool and one of my electives is agriscience and i don't Know what to expect. someone plz help

You will get the basics on what is "farmed", and the list is huge from plants to animals to fishes and even microbes. You'll probably get some history on it, and look at production statistics, then touch on the different forms of growing things, and that is HUGE. Agro businesses are what feeds all of us, there are not a lot of foods and medicines that are collected as hunter gatherers did back in the dawn of humans, but those few are really interesting also. I would expect that you will also look at the biology of growing plants and animals, how farms do what they do, harvesting, and import/ export.

If your school has a big FFA program then its probably a feeder class for that program. Either way you'll learn about animal science (nutrition, digestion, anatomy, reproduction and lactation), horticulture maybe, agri science & business law, livestock and uses, and you'll probably dissect animals.

Anything to do with farming and/or food science.

It can be broken down into animal(poultry, horses, catttles, pigs, sheep etc) and plant science.  The also teach you farming policies.

Animal Science (Animal Husbandry), Plant Science (Agronomy and Horticulture), Agriculture  Economics, Agricultural Engineering, could include subjects like Aquaculture, and Organic Farming.
