What sound card do I Need(/want)?

Question

I'm looking for a sound card i can put in my current windows computer so that i can use my 5.1 surround sound system properly. I know i need a 5.1 card and then i just need to plug that into the amp for it to work.

But what is the difference between certain 5.1 cards? would they all work? would it be able to connect into the amp? (needs the white and yellow cables I'm not sure what they are called) and any recommended places?

Creative X-fi is the best i have a platinum edition one and i never heard a skip since i had it.  its perfect for games, movies. mp3 audios etc... works awesome.  go to www.creativelabs.com to see some of there products they are the professionals of audio cards...i think the best... audigy 2 is old X-fi are the modern ones
