Great call Sunshine - Ice smells great!  I've got a weird one....chlorine.  A lot of our rec centres where we live have both pools and rinks so as soon as you walk into the building you smell the swimming pool.  After 14 years of taking my boys to hockey, swimming pools now make me think of hockey.

  16. It may sound strange, but it's the smell of the ice.  I live near Detroit, so when I go to the Joe Louis Arena during a hockey game, you can smell the ice as soon as you walk inside of the building.  Sometimes it's the same smell that you get when you open a clean freezer in the summertime and the air hits you in the face.  For me, it's one of the greatest smells around.

  17. The Smell.. Sweat, Hockey Sweat.. All you have to do is take a wiff and the whole downstairs smells like Men In Skates.

The Sound.. Ice.. Not just a sound but a Texture

  18. the smell of my hockey bag (gross)

the sound of a goal horn or a piece of wood dropping the ground (sounds like someone taking a slapshot)

  19. Sweaty hockey equipment (may sound gross, but not when your entire teenage life was devoted to hockey games played by boyfriends and a big brother), and smell of the old ice rink where I grew up, the sound of the Zamboni, the smell of nachos, the sound of this stupid arcade game that used to be at the ice rink, and the sight of an old Canucks jersey (when their colors were black, orange & yellow and Pavel Bure was the best thing to happen to Vancouver since color TV)!!!

Nic---good one with the chlorine!! There was a pool right next to our old ice rink too :) Ah, the good old days.....

  20. The sound of a buzzer.

  21. Any Stadium Anthem makes me think of a game.

Breathing the air on a cold morning makes me think of playing early in the morning.

Walking on a icy sidewalk makes me think of skating.

Hearing a horn or a buzzer makes me think of the games.

Postal Tape reminds me of the locker room because a couple of guys would use it in practice.

    Snowplows remind me of Zambonis.

Bad Bosses remind me of Bad refs.
