i have an angelsounds fetal doppler. i can hear the heartbeat and my baby moving. if i position it differently the heatbeat sounds different or stronger. other positions like more towards my ovary area, not exactly where the baby would be lying it sounds like lots of water swirling around.

what do you hear?

  1. When I went to the doctors and he was listening to it i could hear the swirling which is it moving around and i could hear the baby kicking at it because i don't think it likes things pushed on my stomach and he said when you move it and you hear the different sounding heartbeat that's actually your heartbeat and how its much slower and sounds much different than the baby's. I definately want to look into getting one to have at my house because that would be cool!

  2. i hear the same exact things and whenever he kicks it really loud lol...i love listening to him move around and his heartbeat

  3. Same thing. That's the bundle swirling around.

  4. You can hear the placenta as well as the heart beat - the swirling sound which kind of sounds like a pulse is the placenta working - the heart beat is more of a pronounced beat - difficult to describe - but once you know there is a difference you can tell which is which :)
