Question:

What soup/chowder can I make from a simple butter/flower roux?

I'm pretty sure I have enough ingredients to make some sort of soup or chowder. Someone give me some examples and I'll do some research on what they taste like and what I need for them. Thanks.

  1. corn, clam, or crab chowder

    potato cheese soup

    lobster, crab, tomato, or corn bisque

    any kind of gumbo

    cream of brocolli, leek, celery, cauliflower, asparagus, mushroom, or chicken soup (or squash but not the right season)
