  1. Rain water from non industrially polluted area.

  2. The "purest" water comes out of distillation, however you wouldn't drink that.

You need to define "purity" in this sense.  Are dissolved minerals "impure"?  If so, then you must go with distilled, but again you don't drink that.  If we allow dissolved minerals [and the expensive mineral water has that], what defines a "pure" [i.e. "good"?] versus "impure" [i.e. "bad"?] mineral?  Does "pure" simply mean free of toxic or harmful substances?

  3. http://www.isbre.com accessible.

  4. Fresh Water is the purest water we can drink. Really, there isn't much pure water because much water has been polluted by oil spills, chemicals, and waste. If you drink Salt Water which isn't fresh, did you know that it can cause your kidney's to collapse? The water we can drink is fresh water.

  5. Rain water, or spring water

  6. Please allow me to qualify my answer by starting out with my interpretation of your question.

Source of water meaning nature's way of providing the water.

Drinking water is clean not harmful in any way to the human body.

Pure meaning uncontaminated.  There are some drinking water that contains minute amounts of toxicity but which the body can withstand.  So my answer will be on the basis of non-contamination of any sort.

    Now, my answer:

Water coming from holes or caves of mountains at least 9,000 feet high, the higher the mountain the better, the higher the hole or cave the better.

The reason for this is clouds are actually an accumulation of mists of water.  Water coming from clouds that passes or hit the sides of mountains are absorbed or collected by the soil and vegetation which in turn forms up in underground streams and which find their way to holes on sides of mountains or caves.

For laymen, we call these waterfalls, but actually these are tributaries and may exit the mountains in several places, some many miles away.  Some grounds just sprout out water.  The purest will contain minerals collected from within the mountain itself but are safe to drink and actually beneficial.

Once the water leaves the mountain and hit the ground or rock, impurities start with a collection of bits and pieces like wastes of insects, animals and birds and even decayed carcasses of these.  Further down the stream, creek or river, would be added, the waste contributed by man like detergent and other biodegradable and non-biodegradable matters.

In brief, water collected immediately upon exiting the sides of tall mountains before hitting the ground would be the purest form of drinking water.

If you want pure without the minerals, then distilling it would be the way to do it.  But distilled water is harmful to the body as these absorb important vitamins and minerals in our body and are excreted together.

I hope I have answered your question to your satisfaction.
