What source of energy should Singapore use for its future needs and why?

    I would think that they could use many different sources of energy all in conjunction with each other. Solar panels on the top of every building, an offshore wind farm, ocean current turbines...and why not some of those sidewalk power generators?

    Either way, Singapore is in a hard place when it comes to energy independence, it being a city-state confined to a small island. I think though that definitely using the space that the open ocean provides for a wind farm and possibly current turbines would be best, especially in conjunction with a network of independently-owned solar panels on many of the city's rooftops and buildings.
