I need to buy a speaker where I can plug into it those red and white cables from my video game system. The sound on my tv isnt working so I plug the yellow cable into my tv because it is for the video and I need a speaker to produce the audio. What speakers have a place to just plug in these 2 cables?

  1. You need POWERED speakers. KRK makes some great ones.

Most powered speakers will have a 1/4" plug, like old fashion headphones, so you may have to add plugs to the wires, but that should be pretty easy.

You could also get a good set of computer speakers, like the Logitech surround sound sets, but you will still have to install plugs (mini-phone). Some of the Logitech set have a surround sound processor so you can get a surround set-up with just 2 sets of inputs. Cheap surround sound system!

  2. Any powered speakers with RCA Line-In will do the job.

A cheaper deal is to buy a powered pc speakers, but mostly comes with 3.5mm Aux-in/Line-in holes.

    * for the above, in your case, you will need a Stereo Male 3.5mm Plug to 2 Channels RCA Female
