    also, the flash of orange on the lower half of beak is big and bright, it looks smaller or not there on the pics of emperors.

  3. It should be an Emperor penguin. They have yellow feather at the chest area and are that fat too xD

    I'm not sure what the distinguishing characteristics are and the 2 species are very similar.  If I had to guess, I'd say that it was a King Penguin because it looks more "svelte" than Emperor Penguins tend to be.  <shrug>
