The ozone layer is currently much better than is was say 20 years ago. There has been a net increase in natural ozone production since the  banning of CFC's in the late 80's early 90's. Ozone depletion is not a current environmental issue any more. There are no species that are under threat from ozone depletion any more. Except for a few uneducated greenies that are not up to current events.

Ozone layer is important for all living being and so it will effect all of us and not any one species.
