What species is this uromastyx?

I bought it about a month ago, and i was wondering what species it is, I bought it from a pet store, but they never told me what species it is.

Why would you buy something if you did not know what it is.

Why is it on sand? Have you done any research at all?

if you purchased this uromastyx from a petsmart, then it is either an egyptian or a mali as that is all they are currently selling in most stores.  It also looks to be a mali to me.

uros are not my thing but it looks like an egyptian.
