  1. Bird "Flu" will effect many species, but the main ones that we hear about are Poultry ,Hens, Turkey's and all Domesticated stock.

The others are the Wildfowl, Ducks, Swans, and all other species because we don't hear so much  of them they are forgotten about

The truth is that it affects "All" birds and is dangerous that is why Bird Shows are cancelled and the movement

    of all "Avians"is restricted.

  2. poultry. ie, chickens, turkey, etc.

  3. I'm pretty sure it was Chickens

  4. I can not undrestand you add more details

  5. Bird flu, right?

    Well according to http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/342283... :

Migratory wildfowl, notably wild ducks, are natural carriers of the viruses, but are unlikely to actually develop an infection.

The risk is that they pass it on to domestic birds, who are much more susceptible to the virus.

But, let's talk about bird flu itself. Like humans and other species, birds are susceptible to flu. There are many different types, which each have different "postcodes" based on differences in the hemagglutinin and neuraminidase proteins on the surface of the virus.

But the one concerning experts at the moment is the "highly pathogenic" H5N1 strain - this means that it is highly likely to cause disease. What is the H7 strain?

H7 versions of bird flu are highly infections to chickens, but are less threatening to humans than the H5N1 strain.

    According to http://georgia.usembassy.gov/downloads/A...

The bird flu virus does not usually infect humans. In 1997, however, the first case of infection from a bird to a human was identified in Hong Kong. Most recently, human cases have occurred in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Indonesia. Almost all cases to date have occurred

after direct contact with infected poultry.
