What species of turtle do i have?

Question

it has a brown shell streaked with a bit of yellow and the edge is lined with bright yellow. It seems really smart. The underbelly is a pattern of yellow and brown circles. the scales are gray with a streak of white here and there. the head has a red and orange circle inside of each other. The lips are yellow!

I can't tell from your description. If you caught it, check a field guide that covers the area. The Peterson series has two good ones. If you bought it, you will need a book with worldwide coverage, like Pritchard's Encyclopedia of Turtles.
