  1. Well, all the top generals in this country alone (Schwarzkopf, Petraeus, Powell, Patton, Eisenhower, Washington, Abrams, Gavin, Ridgeway, Grant, Sherman, etc)  are or were combat arms and those who became civilians used the same drive to propel them to great heights

Most people say some 'leaf-eating' admin job. But I am in one now in JAG. I spent 16 years in the airborne infantry and know the confidence and motivation I was given to use. If you want to be a CEO, go ahead a big 'soft-served' ice-cream if you want. Watch Donald Trump's show the 'Apprentice' for the business world.

If you want a computer/office job, than come in a learn it in the Army or even better at a trade school. Whatever you consider 'lucrative'.

You can just be a contractor in Iraq or Kuwait for KBR watching local nationals or 3rd world host nationals at the laundry point for a few years and come off clean too with a big check...same with driving a truck, pulling security, fixing HVACs, doing admin, etc. and make six-figures. Without ever even being in the military.

So remember, it's about the job, not about the dough. We can never know how this will turn out once you take off that uniform and not everyone is a mercenary.

  2. I personally would go with anything Technical

  3. Being a corrupt spineless *** in weapons evaluation.

And yes you can do that while flying a jet. But it's

working better on the administrative side.

  4. go to  goarmy.com it will tell you about all the mos's. i would look in to 94f.
