I believe Jan. 9 is the feast day of the Black Nazarene.

June 13 is the feast of St. Anthony of Padua.

I believe that novenas are usually prayed so that the ninth day of the novena falls on the corresponding feast.  So if I'm correct the novena to the Black Nazarene would start on Jan. 1 and the novena to St. Anthony of Padua would start on June 5.

However, I'm not sure about this, so you may want to look into it further.
