What specific factors favor the dissolving of sodium chloride in water?

Explain please

like is it the size of particles being dissolved in the solvent or is it the amount of solute already dissolved in water or is it the temperature of the solvent or is it the stirring of the solution.

  1. all of them have an effect on dissolving salt.  crushing the particles will make it easier, higher temperature of the water, and stirring will dissolve it.  But if the water is already saturated with salt then it cannot dissolve anymore salt.

  3. 1st factor would be, of course, the solvent and how much it can absorb.

    2nd would be the size of the particles to expose more area to be dissolved.

    3rd would be some agitation to distrubute the solvent.

    Temp would have a small affect on the process
