What specifics for the gas system on an ION?

The Smart Parts Ion is classified as an LP gun by just about everyone. However, some people stand by LP tanks and some stand by HP tanks.

Can I buy an HP tank for it?

If so, do I need to purchase anything else for it to work?

What does the regulator have to do with anything if the tanks are preset on the output of PSI?

You can use a HP output tank since the Ion has its own built in regulator to regulate the pressure down before the gun uses it.
