What speed do they base fuel consumption on in miles or km?

i know what unit they measure it in but what speed lol the second guy got it right maybe the other too out to lunch

  1. In most of the world, the metric measurement is given as Liters per 100 kilometers. So a lower number is better.  3.4 L/100km is better than 5.3 L/100km

    In the US it is measured in miles per gallon.  Higher is better.

    50-55 highway and maybe 20 mph city I think
