  1. if you are somewhat in shape i suggest track//cross country. you can improve quickly and have a healthy life style. cheerleading is also fun in my opinion. i went from zero experience to varsity level in 1 year. you just have to be dedicated and practice as hard as you can. ifyou are motivated then any sport would work really.

  2. try badminton and if still you don't qualify how about crosstich?

  3. horse back riding.

and yes it is a sport, and is as hard as any other sport out there (if not harder) Its alot of fun, and there is competition for all levels (beginners through advanced).

  4. GOLF, golf, GolF, GOlf, golF!!!!

  5. gymnastics.

  6. Well, I'm not sure what the real point of this quesiton is.  I mean, you know what you're good at better than anyone online will.  If you're asking about an 'easy' sport, I'd say that there isn't one.

As sports go, there's always Crosscountry or track.  Neither of those really require any highly specific previous skills.

Personally, I'm not a sports person, and I do chess.  If you're looking to compete, Chess is the ultimate competition, really.  Well, in my opinion it is.  Chess is based entirely on your own skills and abilities, it's something anyone can learn, it's difficult, and it's fun.  Sure, you won't exactly get the same noteriety as you would from being on a sports team, but if all you want is noteriety, well, that's your business.

  7. horse riding - eventing, cross country, show jumping.

    badminton.

    netball.

    golf.

    running.

    athletics

    gymnastics

there are loads of things... :D

  8. Track, gymnastics, or even paintball.

If you decide to take up paintball, go into "speedball"

Which, in your terms might be "The paintball on TV"

It is slightly expensive, but it is an amazing sport.

You won't have to practice but maybe once a month...

It may take a couple of months to a year to become very good.

You can enter competitions anyway, it will help you understand what to prepare for.

I can help you achieve this if you want.

BTW, I am NOT some poser that plays in his backyard.
