What sport is in this picture? It has bikes with white trays and they all seem to be doing something with...?

So a teacher at school gave us a picture and is offering a reward for whoever can find out what it's of.

She said it's a type of sport: it has 5 people on push bikes, all of which have things that look like white trays where the handlebars usually are, and they may be doing something with their left hand on that tray.

It looks like they're on a circuit track.

That's it. I can't for the life of me work out what it is!

She mentioned it was an extreme sport, but I dunno if it is - it was one of those things where she may've meant to say weird sport, I dunno.
