  1. golf because it taks acuracy and smarts

and baseball tacks power (which comes from steroids) and speed (which comes from steroids)

  2. Different kinds of skill, and it takes a whole lot of it to be the best.

In golf, you're hitting a ball that doesn't move, but you have to hit it with such incredible accuracy, at just the right speed, with just the right spin, factoring in the weather and ground conditions.  It's a very difficult sport.

In baseball, you're hitting a moving ball, which is one of the hardest things to do in all of sports.  The best players need speed, great timing, great judgment, intelligence (well, baseball intelligence anyway), just an overall high level of athleticism.

Let's just say if you traded the best players in each sport for each other, they wouldn't come close to competing with the top professionals in their new sports.

  3. To be a major league baseball player takes a lot of talent.  I pick baseball.   Did you ever try to hit a baseball going over 90 mph?   Or a major league curve or slider?    Most of us would not touch the ball with the bat.    I can play a fair game of golf even though I am over 60.
