What sports commentators are bigger than the sports they cover?

I'm going with Bob Costas. People tune in to see him no matter what he covers. He and his commentary are always more important that the sport.

I, too, would go with Bob Costas...  kinda like the late great Tim Russert and politics, what he said was always more interesting than the actual news of the day.
