What sports official has the hardest job?

i'd say homeplate umpire one is on a show called sports science they had an ump cam and it's kind of scary having a 100 MPH fast ball coming at you while trying to call balls and strikes so that's my opinon you could go with NFL refree because they have some much ground to cover.

Id say homeplate umpire too. They dont have enough time to react to the 100 MPH pitch. Where as the NFL refree can run out of the way.

Definitely baseball umps, home plate especially.  I think they just guess sometimes :P
