  1. One of my good friends was at the Ottawa airport when all the planes were grounded due to a storm. The terminal was wall to wall people.

Don Cherry (Mr. NHL Hockey) and got a whole bunch of people (mainly young teenagers) together in a large circle and he "did his thing". He entertained them and took a lot of stress off these wiery travellers.  He was not on camera or paid to do this . . he was also stuck at the airport.

I lived near Blue River, British Columbia where they have the best helicopter skiing in the world. Movie stars and Royalty go there to ski (John Denver wrote and sang the song: Rocky Mountain High from this place).  Anyway, (around 1980) Chris Kristoffeson was there and one night he disappeared from his crown of hanger oners and they all went looking for him. Guess where they found him???  He met the local young crowd and was at an outdoor bombfire (remember, this is winter with 6 feet high snow banks) borrowed a guitar from a local kid and was sitting around the campfire singing his songs and having refreshments . . . .can you imagine being one of those kids?!?

  2. Kevin Sorbo (Andromeda, Hercules) was really nice when I met him at a convention, we took some photos and he even bought me starbucks and stayed for a chat. I thought that was really sweet of him considering how busy he was.

  3. Henry Rollins was super cool,  lame as his music is Kid Rock is a nice guy, Leshaun(sp?) from sevendust, the three doors down guys, the meanest is maynard from tool.

-Used to work for a rock station

  4. Anastasia was super sweet. This was as she was starting out.

Peter Frampton, Eddie Money and all of Cheap Trick are super friendly, humorous people. Joan Jett was also very friendly, staying for hours to sign autographs.

And yes, LaShaun of Sevendust and Three Doors Down are friendly. So are Train, if they're still around. The biggest jerk I ever encountered was Damon Johnson of Brother Cane, long gone. He's had trouble finding work, I'd wager.

Iggy Pop was as rude as could be to his fans.

  5. willy nelson real nice guy  **** he likes to party too
