  1. To the above answerer,Lebron and Pierce are tied? You must be a Celtics fan!

    Team 2.

    Chris Paul = Steve Nash

    Kobe > Hamilton

    LeBron > Pierce

    Duncan > Stoudamire

Howard(lower center of gravity) > Yao

  2. Team one for me because they are great both offense and defense. Although team two have LBJ or CP3, they can't beat the combination of Pirece,Kobe, and Dwight

  3. i think it would go into a fourth overtime and team 2 would win by 2.

  4. both amazing but  I would go with 2, Just totally stacked!!

Kobe and nash would put up a good fight but the big men on team 2 would destroy team 1's

  5. team 1, i just think that with kobe and pierce and stoudamire, all of whom are great shooters, the team two will have trouble defending. stoudamire and howard are just as good as duncan and yao.

  6. i would say team two is more diverse...nash is getting old, and who knows when he will start slowing down, at this point in time i think that chris paul is the best point guard out there... kobe is better then hamilton both ways, lebron is better then pierce both ways, duncan is more stable and effective then stoudemire that relies more on athletic ability...and same goes to the yao, and howard comparison (yao can actually shoot, not just put up dunks)...overall i think with the matchups i listed it seems team 2 has a slight edge

  7. 1 cuz i jus compared positions on who is better

    pg - 2

    sg - 1

    sf - 2

    pf - 1

    c - 1

  8. Number 2

CP3 over Nash CP3 is quicker then Nash

Kobe24 vs Hamilton a good matchup

Amare vs Duncan Duncan is great

Yao vs Howard   Yao will be a killer

Pierce vs King james Lebron will take the show

  9. d**n ur second list sucks. except yao.

  10. two caz they r just betetr

  11. its a hard decition but TWO is better because paul is a better all around player then nash  thats 1 point to TWO. but kobe is better than hamilton 1 point to ONE. lebron over peirce 2 points for TWO. duncan is better than stoudamire 3 points for TWO. but howard over yao. so it would be lineup TWO 3-2

  12. team 2

  13. Second

  14. team 2. Paul is a great passer and Rip's cutting abilities greatly compliments Paul. LeBron is young. Duncan is a fundamentalist. Yao is really tall.

  15. Both are good but I will go for number 2 because of the following reasons:

    1. Hamilton and Duncan are proven winners (Detroit and Spurs are champion teams)

    2. Lebron and Paul are young players who can make their team mates looks good.

    3. Yao is yao. If healthy, could be the best center right now.

    Thanks.

  16. Team 2.

Chris Paul just has the more complete game then Nash and he's just as good as finding the best option on the court. If you watch him somewhat often, you see that the Hornets score basically every time he shoots or after he passes. He's also a better defender then Nash.

Kobe is obviously better then Rip, but Hamilton would not be leading that team.

LeBron is better then Pierce for obvious reasons. Even if Pierce did win the finals, LeBron is on pace to be an all-time great.

Duncan is better then Stroudamire. Duncan is a much better defender and he's extremely consistent in the postseason.

Yao is also better then Dwight. Howard has the potential to be better, but he's still pretty raw. Most of his points just come off easy dunks while Yao finds many ways to score, along with being a decent passer for a big man. Yao is also a better defender.

  17. number one is definitly better and number one would crush number 2

  18. team 1 because their big men are stronger n more agreesive then team 2s big men

and kobe is the mvp and pierce is the finals mvp

and nash with his passes and 3 pointers

    there're unstoperble

  19. I'd go with number 2.

Number 1 is loaded with shooters, they have only one real post player in Dwight (cuz if you notice, Amare gets most of his post baskets off screens, alley-oops, and put-backs).

The shooting of Team 1 is pretty much nullified by the fact that all 5 team 2 players are good at one or more aspects of defense.

Not only that, but Team 1 has an unbelievable interior presence in Duncan and Yao. That alone is unstoppable. If you add LeBron to the mix, that's just overkill. And unfortunately, no matter how good defensively Paul Pierce or Amare Stoudemire are, Duncan and LeBron are just unstoppable offensive machines. Rip Hamilton may be the only weak point on this team, but his stingy defense on Kobe will more than make up for his lack of offensive variety. And Chris Paul plays both ends of the floor while Nash, despite being probably the most skilled and versatile offensive point guard, is a defensive liability.

Furthermore, if you notice, every player on Team 2 is a team-oriented player, that is known for sharing the ball. Teamwork and good chemistry gives this team the edge.

And the last and most important reason that Team 2 will win?

They combine for 7 championship rings. Team 1 only has 4.

  20. Team One is better than Team 2. Why? Kobe Bryant.

    Analysis:

Nash VS Paul - Nash is still Nash. A two-time MVP. Back-to-back in fact. For me, Nash is the best passer in the NBA right now. As much as I like Paul, Nash is the better distributor of the two.

Bryant VS Hamilton - Kobe will own Rip. As much as I like (appreciate) at the same time hate Detroit Pistons guard Rip Hamilton's moves or style of play, Kobe will surely beat his guy. Defensively. Offensively. You name it.

Pierce VS LeBron - LeBron is better than Pierce. But I can say that Pierce thrives in crunch-time. Come playoff time, he was the hero of the Celtics. The whole season, it was Garnett. Playoffs = Paul Pierce show.

Stoudemire VS Duncan - Duncan is the better player of the two. The fundamentally sound VS the prototype forward/center. Amare's athleticism will surely help but Duncan's knowledge is definitely a factor.

Howard VS Yao - I like you better. But, I must admit Howard is fast approaching becoming the best center in the league. Its hard to argue about the two, one is finesse, the other power. But when in comes to the wire, Howard will muscle his way against Yao. He'll grab those boards which are crucial eventually for Team One's victory.

** The two is evenly matched. Its kinda hard picking a winner but I really like the make-up of the First team better than the Second one. I think they will perform better as a unit than Team 2 though I'm not discounting the fact of Team 2 victory. Its just that, well, Kobe Bryant is in Team 1. =)

  21. 1st because nash can shoot the ball better then cp3, kobe is a missmatch on almost everybody, lebron has pierce beat, stoudamire is better then duncan and howard is better then yao

  22. team one would break down quickly because of the kobe/pierce matchup

  23. Pierce switch wit LeBron. LeBron James is obviously better. AND Duncan switch with Stoudemire, because you would win a championship with that. more likely anyways.

  24. team one is better

    nash v.s. paul nash wins

    kobe vs. hamilton kobe wins

    pierce vs. lebron lebron wins

howard vs. yao ming maybe howard wins so except for lebron winning over pierce team one is better

  25. Paul Is The Best point Guard In The League One For Team 2

Kobe Is Far Better Than Hamilton One For Team 1

Lebron And Pierce Are Even So They Cancel Each Other Out

Duncan Is NBA's Best Power Forward Two For Team 2

Yao Is The League's best Center Three For Team 2

    Team 2 Is Better

Put Kobe On Team 2 And You Have A Starting Five That Would Kill The League

  26. That's tough.  Could go either way.  I think the main matchup to watch is Howard vs. Yao.  That would determine the game IMO.

  27. Both teams are pretty good, either team could win on any night, I would have to say Team 1 would win. Nash vs Paul, good match up. Nash has much better passing abilities and can shoot better than Paul. Also, Nash is pretty quick on his feet. Paul has great passing skills and has a good shooting skill, but Nash has the edge. Paul has Nash on the defensive end. Kobe for sure has Hamilton, no doubt. Hamilton can't guard Kobe on any day of the week. Pierce vs LeBron, very good all round match up. Both LeBron and Pierce can score and defend. The Truth vs The King, what can I say, its a good match up, got to call it even, a draw on that match up. Amare vs Ducan, im not a fan of Timmy. Amare is a young, athelitic beast. Amare has range and he has good defense. Ducan is ok, he big and can only shoot off the backboard. I would have to say that Amare has the edge against Ducan. Yao vs Howard, Tall Asian vs Superman. Howard is going to have the edge against Yao. Yao is Mr.Softy, he can't take harassing. Howard can play in the paint and out. Howard can play as center and PF, Yao is just a center. Yao can't play defense, especially against Howard.

  28. You have to look at the make up of both teams. Team one with nash will be able to run team two into the ground. Duncan is two slow and the same of Yao. Team One has the advantage in athleticism But that is the only advantage for team one, Two has better rebounders duncan yao and lebron,  and is the more balanced team,  two also has the advantage on the defensive end. and as we all know half-court defensive and well balanced teams beat athleticism. on a 10 game scale team two wins 7-10.

  29. team one would own. they have outside shooting plus a inside game. team two has no real outside shooter besides rip but rip is one of those guys that are streaky so if he keeps missing then hes gonna suck.

  30. Team 1 needs defense but Duncun is there for team 2. So team 2
