  1. Texas...

There is parts of Texas that are g*y friendly, but the town I live in is freakishly homophobic-and has TOO many soccer moms named debbie....

  2. I live in Texarkana, Texas. Shockingly, it's not as homophobic as one might think. But it is, after all, one of the fastest growing small cities in the country. More economically than in population, but still. The growth has made a huge difference in the over-all open-mindedness of the community.

And yes, yeee-haaa! I do wear cowboy boots. Wouldn't a thunk it, would ya? ;)

  3. i live in illinois and i guess its somewhere in the middle. i know though, that central illinois (where i live) is way less than chicago.

though im sure they're much more friendly than some other places.

  4. I live in Pennsylvania. It's a 'Blue' state, meaning that it's more liberal or

more tolerant to new ideas. However, change is slow in smaller cities,

so I don't see lots of g*y friendly expression here. One practices a lot

of discretion and avoids the usual g*y personifications that can be more

freely expressed in the larger cities like Philadelphia. Maybe I'll move!

I always wanted to move to San Diego! Now that's a g*y friendly town!

  5. I live in Illinois, so it is moderately g*y-friendly. I also live in Chicago, which is possibly the most g*y friendly place out of the entire state.

  6. Arizona, it's a moderate state, and there isn't that much g*y hate here

  7. florida-kinda it depends

  8. Mass.. and you would think so because we've had the g*y marriage approved but I found that the outskirts of Boston and beyond people are relatively rude about it. Especially Everett where it took forever to get a GSA. My ex who was 2 grades ahead of me tried to get one started her Freshmen year (1998). One wasn't even established until My Junior year (2002) and she was in her first year of college. She even made headlines and still no budge, but great rude remarks from the Principle about why he was against it. However Boston is pretty g*y friendly Bagly is great for young teens.

  9. Pennsylvania, and it's socially acceptable, but people talk about you behind your back, but homophobia isn't really tolerated.

  10. Massachusetts - yes, relatively !

  11. Los Angeles, California

    Very GLBT friendly.

  12. I know I don't live in a state, I live in Canada :)

and I know the majority of my town is g*y friendly.

g*y marriage is legal, so I'm going to assume the country is somewhat g*y friendly?

  13. SC and no too many close minded people. I dont mind g*y people though.

  14. I live in Tennessee, it is moderately g*y friendly.

  15. no town is g*y friendly if it has churches in it.

  16. I live in fu**ing Tennessee. I hate it because it isnt g*y friendly... its racist and homophobic down here. Egh im moving to canada...

  17. Texas - Dallas - not sure I am not g*y- I don't care if people are g*y -and most of my friends don't.  My company has many g*y employees.  We have a large g*y church and and area (cedar springs/Oaklawn) that is known for being g*y.

  18. Chicago, Illinois and while Chicago is TOTALLY g*y friendly... Southern Illinois is the gateway to the south... SO they may tend to be more closed minded...

But over all... Chicago is a SPECTACULAR place to be openly g*y.

h**l... Wrigglyville (where the cubs play) is right next door to "Boy Town"... They g*y district! LOL!

  19. i live in CA and is not g*y friendly at all. just because they legalize same-s*x marriage does not mean people are g*y friendly. trust me, i live near SF.

  20. I live in Victoria, Australia.

We do have a very large diverse, multicultural community across the state! ...particularly (near) where I live there is an extremely large multi-cultural area and i think it's the most multi-cultural in Australia.

I say this because I cannot speak for everyone in my state!! Everyone is different so they would have different opinions on those who are lgbt!

Personally, I'm straight but I'm all for happiness... if it makes you (and your partner) happy to be with the same s*x than go for it!!

So, with all that said, I would say Victoria is g*y-friendly :D  .......(but more-so in the city than in the country areas) and at the very least g*y-tolerant.

  21. North Carolina, and no there is a baptist church every 10 miles.

  22. California.

The best places for g*y people are Los Angeles , San Fransico, New York !

  23. I live in australia. Queensland.

Not many ppl on here are from australia and are lez or bi!

  24. Although I live in the g*y unfriendly state of Kentucky... I live in the g*y friendly City of Louisville.

  25. i live in bc canada. hahah not a state but we are REALLY g*y friendly. we have a "g*y" street with pink bus stops, and rainbow flags in every window. And a g*y pride parade every year with huge floats and naked people. hahah

  26. oh yea i think its 1 of the most g*y friendly states here lol... california. :)

  27. NJ, its pretty g*y friendly and a liberal state. Its very diverse, but the cost of living does keep alot of g**s out.(the highest in the nation)

  28. Well; I live in Florida now ... and it is somewhat g*y friendly .... especially in Orlando and the surrounding area ....

Several businesses there including Disney World now have it so g*y people can put their partners on the insurance and get other benefits as well .

Also; Disney World host "g*y Days" in Orlando every year ....

I've also lived up in Ohio .... fairly g*y friendly here and there ... in Clark County (Springfield) there are several Christian Spiritualist Churches that were VERY g*y friendly and accepting ... In fact; three of those churches have g*y Pastors and / or Members of their Church Boards ....

  29. Alabama.

NOT g*y friendly. You have to really really search to find anything g*y other than the g*y bars. We do have g*y bars... but... there isn't much other than that. No support groups or the like, well not in Northern Alabama.

there is a g*y church here. lol.

I heard that they tried to have a g*y pride here but the city wouldn't turn on the electricity for the event.

And they just did a huge 'round up' up on the mountain at the g*y cruising spot, and put all the g*y men (or people they thought might be g*y) 's photos on TV and the internet.

I have seen ONE rainbow flag on a car since I moved here. I have not seen one glbt t-shirt or bumper sticker, there is no g*y bookstore.

    I hate it.

  30. Indiana, Kinda, it varies by location

My Old state NJ You can be g*y & no one cared, its prob more liberal than Maryland. Move North man.
