  1. it belongs to Ohio State which is in U.S. Ohio state was named after the river ohio meaning beautiful river.

  2. Parts of it belong to Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois.

  3. The Ohio River runs through multiple states.  It's begins in PA and is entirely in PA for the first few miles.  PA is the only state that contains a section of the Ohio River that is entirely in one state (as in doesn't form a border).

It also forms the border between Ohio and West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky, Indiana and Kentucky, Illinois and Kentucky.

It doesn't "belong" to any particular state.  It lies within the borders of all of these states.  Where it forms the border, each state owns half of the river technically.

  4. it would be United States, pennyslvania, west virginia, kentucky, indiana, lllinois and ohio for sure..
