I think Oregon.  Portland is vegan paradise.

Oregon. Unfortunately, away from me.

Texas is pretty far from Vegan paradise.

Austin has a handful of vegan/vegetarian only places, and a lot of vegan-friendly places, but I'm not likely to walk in to any old restaurant and not make a special order.
