What states allow illegal immigrants to get a driver's license?

I'd like to know where illegal immigrants are allowed to get a driving permit, a driver's license or any document that allows them to drive? I remember Michigan used to be one of them and Illinois also. What states allow this now?

Here in New Mexico, they are allowed to drive with any country's license for 60 days.  The cops hate it cause they have no way of tracking how long they have been in our country.  The police and the people want to deport them, but good ole Bill Richardson won't let it happen.  

They might be allowed to get a license, but I'm not sure.  I've only lived in the godforsaken state for 6 months (I'm military)

Only six states – Hawaii, Maine, Michigan, Oregon, Utah and Washington – allow illegal aliens to get driver’s licenses.  (Maine is working to start limiting licenses to in-state residents, after decades of resisting.)

I'm not sure about New Mexico.  I thought they stopped issuing them...but I could be wrong.

This is all going away as the mandatory adoption of the federal Real ID program becomes effective this fall.

States that have been catering to illegals won't be able to get federal matching funds.

I know that Texas used to give them to anyone but, here lately it kinda just depends on who helps you when you go in and how much they want to help you. Honestly, DMV is not the INS and their job is to inforce safety on our roads not deport Illegals. I think that we should get the illegals some classes on driving. Make them learn our laws. With or without drivers license they are going to drive.
