Nevertheless, if you can get a section 8 housing choice voucher you can use it anywhere in the U.S. for any place that will except section 8 (many individuall landlords will not expert sec. 8). These can eve be used for home buying now a days. Your best bet is to check with the local housing authorty of the area you're in. If they do not have one then check with the state housing authorty and they can point you in the right direction.
