So we own a reticulated python and yes we do live Indianapolis where it is illegal and my brother bought one when it was legal. Well, the snake learned how to break out of its cage and my mom wants to sell it (it is 12 ft now) so we were wondering where it would be legal to sell it. We are hoping somewhere close by because driving in a car with a snake that can break out of its cage is not very fun.

  1. They are legal here in maryland and also in most states. Try placing an add on kingsnake.com. I also have a 12' foot retic

  2. have you ever heard of google?. you might want to try it out.

  3. They're not legal as domestic pets in any state for the explicit reason that they grow to an average of 20 feet in length and become uncontrollable at such a size.  The snake hasn't "learned" how to break out of it's cage, it is simply doing what nature intended of it.  Best to give it up to a local rescue or zoo.
