What states don't require certification to teach and are currently hiring?

I live in Michigan and need to get a job. I'm going to get certified while I'm teaching!

  1. I'm not sure, but I think all states require certification, but you might want to look into private schools. Some private schools will let you teach while you are completing your certification. Someone above me suggested subbing--that is a good idea and it gets you noticed by principals, assistant principals who are in hiring positions!

  3. All states require certification.  If yo want, you can be a sub while you're getting your credential, and that depends on the district to which you're applying. Just go local and tell them you want to be a sub.

  4. Do you think without proper cert. you should be  in a class? Check out the local fast food places no cert I think is needed.

  5. You won't find a single state in which you can teach in a public school without certification.  However, in most cases, private schools do not have as many restrictions.  So you can start there.  However, you can be a teacher's aid or a substitute without going through school.
