What states recognize a Maine drivers permit?

I'm about to drive from Maine to Virginia. I have my permit but i can't figure out what states will consider it valid. Can anyone help me out?

There are no sites like what you are looking for, the only thing that you can do is call each states police department and ask them or you can try looking up each state and see what you can find.......
