  1. Chancre is a skin lesion of primary syphilis that begins at the site of infection as a papule and develops into a red, bloodless ulcer with scooped out appearance.  It can heals without treatment and leaves no scar.  They develop in the genital area but can also develop on the hands, face or other body surfaces and are highly contagious.  If it goes untreated while it's a papule, it will ulcerate causing more papules and spread to other area of the body causing buboes in the groin.  These are greatly enlarged and inflamed lymph nodes caused by chancre.  The treatment is antibiotics, moist heat and in more severe cases incision and drainage.  Hope this info is what you're looking for.
