What steps do i need to take to be a police officer in idaho?

  1. Check their website.  You usually need a college degree or equivalent military experience.  Then you'll need to go through their training course and graduate before you qualify to apply.


  2. Idaho Peace officers, with the exception of the Chief of Police, have to go to POST school.
