i want to marry my bf in the states but he is a permanent resident. can we marry and then he file for his citizenship and then forms for me? he is going with me to south africa in november but I'm not sure how it works if we get married there and then he files for papers here. what is the best way to do this?

the variant to wait with him until he files for his citizenship is ok but you should enter the country on some kind of visa - student visa f.e. and you shoul keep your status untill the citizenship of your friend. But i don't know how it works if applying from abroad.
