  2. If you are a teacher god help our children.  This would be something you should have learned in school.  Lesson planning 101.

  3. For children always teach them with some example like pictures or stories. This will keep in their minds and they will not forget soon. So go on teaching them with good examples and they will definetly not forget so soon.

  4. They have to be RELEVANT. YOu need to make the activity enjoyable and also have a point. It really is that simple.

  5. You need to take a trip to your state's learning goals and objectives for your grade level.  Look for the content that can be integrated in a full way, so that the students can link, social studies, language, spelling, and etc together.  This provides for a wrap around curriculum, that reinforces.  Find out, what the state requires for goals and objectives, and look through the texts, for some ideas that you find interesting.  Let the kids, complete an interest survey, on their topics, they find interesting, based on your thoughts of interest. Make the lessons interesting. Use their senses and manipulatives as much as possible. There are also tons of resources on the web, and go to your local teacher store, or go to other teachers at your school for ideas....! Teachers love to share, well some do! lol;p! Good luck!
