School is starting in 3 days. My son's mother told me that she had him enrolled into school several weeks ago. I found out yesterday that she has not done this. He does not even have all of his shots for school. I'm sick of the lies and whole heartedly feel that she would not aid to his education. Under our agreements she is to have proof of employment, mode of transportation, and name on lease of house or apartment to be able to enroll our son in her school district. I am unsure of her employment. She has a car thats been broke down for 3 months and I doubt her name is on a lease. What steps do I need to take to get this into court before the end of the week?

  1. I would first talk to your lawyer, but it also wouldn't hurt to do some of your own leg work. Call or go to your county's judicial building. Speak to someone in family court and see what steps you can take. Also, make sure to have any and all documentation of her not holding up to her end of the bargain. This includes having the doctor fax your forms showing he was not brought in for his shots or the school giving you documentation that he isn't registered. Facts are what will make a difference for you; if you leave it up to he said/she said nothing will change.

  2. get what she said she would do in writing from her, contact a lawyer, file for sole legal/physical custody, show how she fails to parent the child and how its in the best interest of the child to be with you, but with visitation of the mother

if you have all your sh*t together..that is

  3. talk to a lawyer or a case worker.

  4. Your in a fix. All you can and have to do to save your son is see a lawyer. they will know what to do.
