  1. You are too old if you want to start it now. But still, you can try if you have skill. And money.

  2. I would also add that you have to dedicate your entire life to it. Move to Europe and start racing 125gp bikes. Do nothing else and train constantly.

You also need to start when you are very young, like barely even old enough to walk.

    Good luck Toddler!

    .

  3. your too old already and by asking this question you neither have the talent or skils

  4. Most US GP riders, just like Nicky Hayden, started flat tracking around 6 years old.  All of the Haydens were Grand Nationl flat trackers in thier early teens.

Take your time, start small, do a few track days, look for orgs with an intro to trackdays.  It's fun, fast, and a safe way to ride fast.  You'll learn really fast, just what fast is.  Coaches will make you feel like your riding a big wheel.  Which makes watching the MGP guys even more fun.

Don't ever try to ride over your head, your asking for trouble.  Enjoy the ride for what its worth

  5. Like the above have said, you are far too old already.

And you clearly know nothing about GP racing by asking this question.

The bike you own already will be a peice of SHlT as it will be a road bike. A good [ read crappy ] 10 year old RS 125 Honda will still set you back £14,500 from Paggetts of Batley (HRC Dealer)

However, you might the next Fogarty or Hailwood, so ill give you this link:
