  4. Last Christmas, we left a tray of ice cubes out for Santa and asked him to bring it back to the North Pole with him.

  5. I'm using Led light bulb around the house does that count?

  6. so many uneducated people on what WE are doing to accelerate the problem... I am learning so much on this planet, and will do what I can to help.

I compost as much as possiable,

I recycle more than anyone on my block (I am a hair dresser and even  recycle foils used from hair color),

    I use energy efficent appliances/lightbulbs,

I keep heat or a/c, high or low,

    I'm looking into solar power,

I would love to have a hybrid car, and

I plan on buying 30 acres or more in the future to preserve.

Even if we can't do everything any bit helps, and it saves you money too.  So why not go green and save green in more ways than one.

  7. I replaced most of my normal light bulbs with those CFL thingies. I just hope I don't die of mercury poisoning, lol. I also wash my clothes in cold water, but that's more to make them last longer than to save the environment. I still wash bed linens and towels on hot. When I get a new car, I'm hoping to get a hybrid.

  8. I bought a charcoal grill and I try to use it every day.  I go down the street to the coal-fired power plant near my home and laugh as it's pumped into the air.

The sooner the reality is clear to lunatic greens the better.

Humans don't control the climate.  CO2 is not a pollutant.

  9. overall lowering power use, water use. Replacing lightbulbs. Using energy/water efficient washing machines and dryers. SWIRLY LIGHT BULBS!!!

TURN off stuff you don't need on.

    Drive a fuel efficient car.

    RECYCLE

LOts of stuff you can do.. and most of these things will save you money as well as CO2 emmissions.

  10. I run the sprinkler system while grilling steaks over hardwood charcoal.  It's a lot cooler for me when cooking that way in the summer.

  11. None.  It doesn't concern me because it isn't happening.

  12. I send emails to the alarmist believers and suggest that they stop driving their cars, flying their jets, heating and cooling their houses, using hot water, running their computer, and eating food.

If they all did that, as they seem to want the rest of us to do, it would surely help their cause and they could so feel superior to the rest of us.

This is the only WIN-WIN I have been able to come up with.

Other than that I drive my Chevy Cavalier more than my bigger car, but that is really to save $$$ so maybe it doesn't count.

  13. Absolutely none.

  14. What would you suggest?  Pointing fans at the sun?  Running the A/C with the doors/windows open?

There is nothing man can do to control a variable Sun (the true cause of this past century's warming trend).

  15. RECYCLE , and drive less, and spread the word of going Green!!!!
