I use mate, g'day, barbie, snags and sanger on a daily basis... what about you?

  6. I do use "G'day" regularly.

    I also call my 3 year old grandson "mate" more often than I use his real name.

    "Bloody" or "bloody h**l" (but not around the grandson).

    Our family use quite a few sayings from old TV shows too.

    Example: "That's a joke, Joyce."

    Are you coming to Davo's Barbie? It's BYO and bring a plate. I'm taking a roast chook and a slab. Did you hear Jono's  wife left him! ......Ridgy-didge!!  The old bugger had it coming.

    Bazza broke his leg playing cricket the other day - "No worries - is he still coming to the barbie"

    Say "gidday" for me, to your better half and see- ya! at the barbie in a fortnight.

    I honestly use most of those words in the above story.

  12. No Wuckas (short for no wucking forries) is the main one.

    I spose I use g'day sometimes.  My mum used  to tell me off for using slang when I was growing up, so it's sort of a habit not to use it now.
