  1. Bent leg safety irons

  2. Those pretty western ones :)

  3. silver stirrups with a break away rubber band

    cheap, safe, still shiny

  4. for adults, bent leg safety irons and kids peacock irons, but i seriously prefer the flexi stirrups, which help me as i have had so many riding accidents that they dont put to much pressure on your back or knees and ankles, so the really help if you get stiff after riding etc. They are quite good for hacking, hunting and dressage, but not so good for jumping as you can loose your balance slightly with them.

  5. The best stirrups are the curved ones

  6. I like bent irons, although they took me ages to get used to!! my feet would keep on slipping out, but they are so much safer than normal ones!!! i had an incident where me and my gelding were trotting along when he slipped and i went flying, but my foot was caught in the stirrup (so i was lying on the floor, with one of my legs in the air...). Luckily, my gelding just stood there eating the grass, and i waited until my parents caught up with me to get me free, and so i decided to change to bent irons.  they word and they look good!!

  7. Safety stirrups for children, like peacock or bent irons. For adults, then stubben irons take a lot of beating.
