  1. How old are you?

  2. How we evolved as a planetary inhabitant of the Earth - is how. Basically, the planet made US. We are designed to flourish in this planets environment. That includes the amount af gravity it has.

Find out more about what I mean, by checking into how astronauts are effected by the long term of lack of gravity on their biology. I heard that they have to go through a strict regiment of hopping on a trampoline for some time, before they are O.K. to withstand the gravitational pull on their systems.

We would not be able to live on the Moon for very long, just as we would not be able to live on Jupiter, for the same reasons. The gravity would negatively effect us.

  3. Gravity is a force, not an entity, so it cannot physically "fall" on us. The north and south poles aren't significant points of gravity, but magnetism on this planet, so the Poles don't have much to do with the force of gravity. As for crushing us, gravity is a constant force at a constant "level" of force. Gravity pulls us down to the center of the earth, it does not push down on us from the zenith points of the earth, and it pulls down on a constant "level" that perfectly suits our life on this planet, which is part of the reason we are not currently colonizing on any other planets. Suitable means of transport to and from the colonies, air supply, water supply, food supply, suitable weather patterns (temp, odd showers/storms, etc.), and "suitable" communications to and from earth are also other extra-terrestrial colonization problems, to name a few.

  4. it doesn't crush us because the earths gravity is not strong enough and of coarse humans have evolved here and have lived for generations with this type of gravitational pressure.

But if the earth was a larger mass then there would be a larger amount of gravity and probably end up with us being able to live with the gravity we have at the moment or the human race not evolving on this planet.

  5. crack kills dude!! what the h**l are you babbling about? gravity is what keeps us from floating around in the air, it "pulls" us down, it don't push. there is nothing hanging above us that can fall, and why would it matter if it was north or south? do you seriously have a problem with drugs? help is just a phone call away. kids in grade 2 know this sh it!!

  6. air resistence

  7. The magical feilds around everything of course! duh!.

  8. we can stop the gravitational force if we exert the same force that oppose the gravitational force because in the law of inertia, if  you apply the same force the object will remain at rest unless you will put an unbalance force..

If we are on earth there will be always a gravitational force not like if we are on the moon were all hanging on the air because the moon has no gravitational force
